An old school song suitable for a public school founded in this century
We are the new contenders,
We sing to the ‘Boat-Song’ tune,
Reared on EastEnders,
We’ll outdo the gentry soon.
When our dads won the ‘Lotto’
They bought us a public school,
And there’s no Latin motto,
‘Cause Latin’s no longer cool.
We’re all into pot and pubbing,
We never find time to learn,
We’ll spend in a night out clubbing
More than our teachers earn.
We’re the new, mindless crackpots
Who, proud of their public school
Bought from cash won on jackpots,
Are destined at last to rule.
